Alicia Salazar, also known as “Al,” has been a fan of professional wrestling for more than two decades. She attended numerous WWE events as a child in her hometown of Fresno, California. When she was in her late teens, she filmed and edited entrance videos for a local independent wrestling company. In November 2018 she along with her friend Emelia created the podcast Kayfabe Queens because they wanted to be the representation they were not seeing at the time in wrestling media. Additionally, the two launched a wrestling zine in 2018 titled “Hot Tag,” in which they wrote about different topics in each issue; they published four issues together. The two ended the podcast in 2023.

Since then, Salazar has done several interviews with wrestlers, with a focus on talent from the west coast. Joining WWT in 2022 she has focused on AEW and ROH, along with being a host for Turnbuckle Glam. In 2023 after ending Kayfabe Queens podcast she began her own podcast entitled “Gimme An Al Yeah!”. In the future, she hopes to work for a major company and further her career in wrestling media.
