Becky Lynch reportedly gets a significant role.
For season three of “Young Rock,” Cyndi Lauper has reportedly been cast as Becky Lynch (Rebecca Quinn), according to Mike Johnson at PWInsider. The episode is also expected to feature portrayals of Liberace, Mr. T, Lou Albano, Vince McMahon, and Hulk Hogan.
The start of season three is scheduled for November 4 on a Friday. “The People Need You” is the name of the first episode.
The plot states, “After losing the election, Dwayne Johnson is ready to withdraw from politics. In 1985, Rocky Johnson learns there are consequences to crossing Vince McMahon.”
At WrestleMania 1, Lauper positioned Wendi Richter in a corner. As a member of the Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Connection, she worked together with Lou Albano. You catch Young Rock, Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
Since WWE SummerSlam, Lynch has been out due to a separated shoulder. When she will make a television appearance again is unconfirmed.
