Since Janai Kai won the MLW women’s world featherweight championship a while
ago at Slaughterhouse, many have been on the edge of their seats to see Jana’s first title defense.
Well we didn’t have to wait no longer. On the last MLW fusion episode , Janai Kai faced off against a debuting Riley Krowe. Janai comes out with her manager, Salina De La Renta looking as confident as a champ can be.
Coming off her two month tour in Japan, Janai hears the bell ring and commences to run to the corner where her opponent is, and delivers a brutal kick to the face that has Riley Krowe seeing stars. Janai brings her opponent to the middle of the ring to ground and pound Krowe into the the pavement.
The ref sees that Riley cannot continue on this match and calls for the bell to be rung.
Within two minutes of this match, we see this kickboxing machine win this first title defense without even breaking a sweat.
This lighting quick win has Salina beaming and gloating over her newest client in the post match interview.
De la Renta declares that the kick demon is staking her claim over the featherweight division.
The women of MLW better beware!
