Heather by Elegance vs Mara Sade

Both Mara Sade and Heather by Elegance have had their taste of the Knockouts TV tournament action and feel confident that they can make it far in the second round. These women waste no time getting down and dirty, trading off blows and arm locks to see who can have the control early on. 

Mara gets a drop kick off of the top rope, goes for a pin, but doesn’t get the results that she wants. 

Mara gets Heather by Elegance on the apron, goes for the attack, by Heather counters it and kicks Mara off of the apron. Hurting Sade's her shoulder a bit. Like a shark that sees blood, Heather goes for the attack on that damaged body part. Pulling on and bending that arm to it’s max capacity, bring a ton of pain to Sade. 

Mara makes a comeback, gaining strength and ignoring the nagging pain to deliver some clubbing blows and give an awesome power bomb to show that she will not give up. 

Heather tweaks that shoulder again as Mara tries to go to the top rope and is able to grab a pin to advance in the tournament. 

I was a little bummed to see that Mara Sade didn’t make it further. Considering the progress and growth that she made this year, but still a great match that displayed the talent of the women in this tournament. 

There's also rumors that Mara might be headed to AEW so it would make sense to see this abrupt end to her tournament aspirations. Still a great match where Heather by Elegance looked like a strong and worth opponent.
