Indi Hartwell vs Thea Hail

A much anticipated match for me was Indi Hartwell vs Thea Hail when looking at the updated tournament bracket. Both women have really brought it thus far in this tournament and really seem like they want to have the honor of being the first to hold the Knockouts TV Title for the first time. 

Coming into her hometown of Pennsylvania for the episode of Impact, Thea Hail feels confident. 

Both women come into this ready to take the other down quickly.

Thea gets an arm bar in after both women lock up. Indi reverses it to get a pin, but Thea quickly gets out of the ring to avoid losing this match. 

Indi takes control as Hail makes her way back to the ring. Working on the arm of Thea. We see Hartwell using her height and strength to have leverage in this match. 

Thea holds her own, not letting herself become intimidated by the size difference. Thea gets another arm submission in and is successful in maintaining control of Indi throughout the middle portion of this matchup.

The joint manipulation on Indi’s fingers from Thea was brutal to watch. Really goes to show how much Thea wants this. Thea gets a body scissors in.

I loved seeing how Thea was using Hartwell’s size against her with the contortions that she’s putting her in. 

Indi gains some control when she moves out of Thea’s submission and a somewhat power bomb for Indi doesn’t work, but her finisher does. 

We see Indi Hartwell get the pin and advance in the tournament. 

This was a really good match. I will say that it did showcase Thea more than Indi and was pretty much a one sided match until the end, but both women had good chemistry and a clear passion to put on a good match for the tournament. I’m excited to see Indi Hartwell move forward.
