Jacy Jayne Becomes Knockouts World Champ in Wild Slammiversary Showdown

Okay, y’all… what did we just witness?! TNA Slammiversary gave us everything — chaos, betrayal, girl gang warfare, and oh yeah, Jacy Jayne walking out as the new Knockouts World Champion. Let’s get into it.

The Knockouts Tag Titles kicked things off on Countdown to Slammiversary, and it was like 2021 called and said, “Give the girls what they want!” Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee (yes, THE IInspiration) finally returned to reclaim their crowns against the ever-extra Elegance Brand — who, by the way, need to be stopped.

The IInspiration were on fire. Like, vintage chemistry, near falls, Aussie sass and all. But just when it looked like they were about to close the show with an IIdolizer… BAM. Spear from Heather By Elegance. Then came M By Elegance and George Iceman doing the absolute most (again). Ash By Elegance hits her Rarified Air finisher and keeps the gold. Like… ugh. Elegant? Maybe. Shady? Absolutely.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Indi Hartwell was not just a match. It was a grudge-fueled breakup brawl in ring gear. These two went off. Tessa was hitting Diamond Cutters and flying Magnums like she was trying to make a highlight reel. Meanwhile, Indi sold that knee like a true queen of pain — but sis was NOT quitting.

Then came the redemption arc. Indi powered up, nailed a Superplex and hit her “Hurts Don’t It” finisher clean for the W. Victory? Short-lived. Gia Miller came down to get a post-match word, and instead got wrecked with Indi as Victoria Crawford and Tessa threw a whole tantrum. Santino Marella (love that man) was not having it. Tessa? Suspended indefinitely. Byeeee.

And then we hit the main event, babyyy — Title vs Title.WWE’s NXT Women’s Champ Jacy Jayne vs. TNA’s Knockouts World Champ Masha Slamovich. Two different worlds. One brutal night.

Jacy rolled in with Fatal Influence (ugh). Masha walked in solo, feral, and focused. For the first half, it was classic "beatdown meets resilience" energy. Masha was tossing Jacy like a rag doll, trying to survive the numbers game. But even a monster needs backup sometimes, and Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee ran in to even the odds.

The chaos got wild. Jayne accidentally knocked out the ref, Masha hit the Snowplow and got a two-count with the backup referee, and everyone in that arena held their breath. One Rolling Encore later, and Jayne laid out Slamovich to become the new TNA Knockouts World Champion.

From NXT royalty to TNA gold, Jacy’s got both worlds in the palm of her hand now. And something tells me this reign’s gonna come with plenty of drama. We’re so back.
