Jada Stone vs Alisha Edwards

Representing the system Alisha Edwards comes into this match feeling very that her time and experience in TNA will guarantee her the opportunity to become the first Knockouts TV champ. 

A true standout this year Jada Stone comes out full of life and ready to take on this challenge. 

Alisha and Jada are talking thrash and bringing some clubbing blows early on in this match. We see some matrix like moves from Jada Stone as she fights off the advances of Alisha to hold the control of this match. 

Even making Alisha run out of the ring to catch her breath. 

Alisha uses Eddie Edwards as a shield as he absorbs the attack of Jada as she dives off the top rope onto him. This gives Alisha the advantage that she needs as she takes the action back to the ring and delivers some vicious chops to Jada in the corner.

We see more of the catty antics when Alisha pulls the hair Jada and wraps it around the rope to further antagonize her opponent. 

The agile and flexible Jada Stone gets a beautiful split legged moonsault in, but the attempted pin from Jada doesn’t get her the win. She’s not deterred and gets Alisha up on her shoulders, but a quick Alisha gets off of Jada’s shoulders and hits her Delish finisher and goes for a pin, but Stone kicks out with everything in her. 

This angers Alisha, but a fired up Jada delivers a vicious kick and goes for one of her moves, but Eddie Edwards stop her while she is in mid flip to hand over control to Alisha Edwards. Alisha goes for the pin, but Jada quickly rolls her up to get a quick three count to advance in the finals. 

Of course like a true heel, Alisha doesn’t take this loss well and attacks Jada as she is celebrating, but learns that even though Jada is a cheerful person she is not a pushover. Jada defends herself and sends Alisha packing as she continues to celebrate this victory. 

Alisha and Jada have some great chemistry together. I loved the scheming and violations that were used by Eddie Edwards and the non apologetic Alisha as it continues to show how vile the system faction is. As well as the lovable, fiery and super athletic babyface Jada is. Strong match in the first round of the Knockouts Tv Title tournament!
