Melina believes she should be induced into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame.
The professional wrestling world is rapidly approaching WrestleMania 39 Weekend. The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is the key turning point in the whole process. In the Californian city of Los Angeles, the Ceremony is being held. Melina, a Golden State native, has stated her desire to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
The mid-2000s saw Melina play a significant role in the WWE Women’s division as the time of Trish and Lita was coming to an end. When female wrestlers didn’t have the same opportunities as they do now, Melina supported the division alongside people like Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, and Mickie James.
Melina was a longtime fan favorite, but she was not without her fair share of scandals that got her into trouble, including heated backstage situations in WWE. during a virtual signing for the Asylum Wrestling Store, speaking. The Paparazzi Princess argued that this year’s class of WWE Hall of Fame inductees should include her.
“I feel like if it doesn’t happen now, why at all anywhere else? Unless we go back to L.A… It’s kind of these things where it’s like, okay. If it’s not in L.A., then it’s this feeling that I’m never gonna be in the Hall Of Fame unless I die. That’s like 30 years from now or something like that.” Up until that point, her most recent appearance was in January 2022. To the delight of the audience, Melina entered the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble unexpectedly. All that remains to be seen is whether she will be included in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
