Maple Leaf Wrestling’s women’s division has been on fire this year and has allowed Nikki Storm fans (like myself) to see her return back to the ring after her time in WWE makes me love the promotion even more!
Nikki made her MLP debut in a fatal four way match for the Winners Choice match between competing against, Priscilla Kelly, Gisele Shaw and Dani Luna.
This was a hard hitting match that had every women ripping each other apart to get the victory.
Nikki Storm was able to give us a bit of a look into her motivations going into this new chapter of her career during a pre taped interview leading up to this match.
She talks about her beginnings in Scotland training and her ten year journey in wrestling thus far. She’s earned her chops in places like the UK, Japan and the USA.
Now she’s back to reclaim her spot in the wrestling world.
Her goal is to hold that MLP women’s championship. She admits that she has a chip on her shoulder to get a championship shot and she won’t stop until she accomplishes that.

In this match, Nikki had no problem being the bad guy and doing whatever it takes to win.
Including distracting the ref to make sure that Priscilla Kelly didn’t get the win, when she was so close to claiming this victory.
Even-though Nikki insisted that it was an accident and she wasn’t trying to take the pin attempt away from Priscilla the bitterness from losing this match to a debuting Nikki Storm was still felt.

Nikki ultimately comes out of this match victorious and cements that she is ready to be as villainous or bloodthirsty as she can can to get closer to dethroning Gisele Shaw for her title.
Storm now gets to pick her opponent and the kind of match she can have at the upcoming Northern Rising event for MLP.
I’m psyched to see Nikki return back to ring and she has some amazing women on this roster to compete with.
Be sure to follow MLP content on social media and Youtube as the women's division continues to heat up!
