ODB Hall of Fame Induction

Over the past few years, TNA Wrestling has done a stellar job at honoring the Knockouts from the past that have had legendary careers, but sometimes don’t exactly get that mainstream recognition that many icons that had long running stints in WWE received. This year, the 2026 TNA Hall of Fame honored one of my personal favorites in Knockouts history. One of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots and have a flask of liquor in her bra wherever she went. None other than Ms.ODB!!

The OG Knockout Traci Brooks came out with Al Snow to induct ODB. Al Snow the current executive producer for OVW, recalls being in OVW in the early 2000s one day and not really remembering anyone else that came for that particular tryout, however the one that did stand out and had a promo that Al Snow still remembers to this day is that of ODB. It just goes to show that from day one, ODB was so memorable and a rare commodity.

Traci Brooks truly spoke from the heart about her memories with ODB as her “road wife” and how much fun they had together in those early years. She loved how ODB never followed the mantra that women were to be seen and not heard or never outlandish or brash.

ODB definitely was a rebel and beat to the sound of her own drum. One that hasn’t been able to be duplicated or imitated since. ODB proved that she didn’t have to changed who she was to make a place for herself on the kockouts roster. Especially when the pressure to conform was running high in the ultra sexual divas era in America. She was in the right place, at the right time upon entering TNA in 2007.

We as viewers were treated to a video package of the stellar career of ODB and how legends like Mickie James and Lisa Marie Varon felt about working with her and what she did for the business. A collage of pictures with Terry Funk, Luna Vachon, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim and many more shows how many felt a connection to ODB and what a wonderful journey it’s been for her.

ODB comes out to the stage in a bedazzled headband and sparkly dress and spoke of her life long love for professional wrestling and how that led to countless road-trips, sleeping in cheap motels, many truck stops in scratchy towns and being in cars with fellow wrestlers that shared stories and moments that she will never forget.

She thanked Eddie Sharkey, Danny Davis and Al Snow for training and mentoring her, also the other original Knockouts that built the foundation for what the division stands on now. They truly were the real revolution for women in wrestling in America during the late 2000s.

Towards the end, she also thanked her Mom, late father and her husband for supporting her through the years.

Of course she couldn’t leave out her wrestling husband Eric Young. Their onscreen chemistry was always so entertaining, so it was nice to see her bring that up.

ODB showed love to Jeff Jarrett who gave her a chance in the company early on. It couldn't be an ODB Hall of Fame speech without a hall of fame toast to cap it off!!

It’s always nice to see unforgettable talent be recognized and honored while they can still enjoy it. Congratulations to the now Hall of Famer, the one of kind Knockout ODB!!
