Rhea Ripley Will Put The Man Down, On Her Time

Rhea Ripley is eager to confront Becky Lynch.
Despite being two of the top performers in the WWE’s women’s division, Lynch and Ripley have only occasionally faced off in the ring. They squared off in 2019 on the NXT episode airing on November 20. However, the match was derailed by interference from Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke. After a few months away due to a separated shoulder, Lynch has recently returned to WWE. In the WWE Survivor Series Women’s WarGames Match, the two former Raw Women’s Champions momentarily squared off, and Ripley is itching for more.
On the WWE’s The Bump episode airing on November 30, Ripley was questioned regarding a potential matchup with Lynch. She expressed her eagerness to take on Lynch in a singles match and her esteem that she would win. “The Eradicator” made it clear that she is going to look forward to the chance.
“I’m really looking forward to it. Becky is someone that I had a match within NXT, and it didn’t finish with a conclusion. It finished with Shayna and the girls coming out and ruining that match for me. She’s always been someone that I feel I could like a televised match with, and it’d be competitive. So, every time I get to step in the ring, I’m looking forward to it, and I want that one-on-one interaction. I want that match. I’m hoping that one day, it will happen, and ‘Mami’ is going to put ‘The Man’ down.”

“It was great. We went in there, trying to be nice, trying to be civil. We were hoping that we could have a nice little family get together and just have Thanksgiving together, enjoy it. But Rey once again shut the door on Dominik. He disrespected myself and Dominik by closing that door, so I wasn’t having it. Then of course, he called me a name, and Dominik snapped. I mean, that’s what happens when you’re a bad influence in front of the children at the table. He’s trying to take the spotlight for himself, and we’re not going to stand for it.”
