Sharmell Appears On Hit NBC Series

WWE and former Nitro Girl Sharmell (aka Paisley) has been acting in “Bigger” and the Hulu Mike Tyson bio miniseries “Mike.” She will soon appear as a judge on “Chicago P.D.”, an NBC police procedural drama. She said the following on Twitter about Her appearance: “From Queen of the #WWE ring to Queen of the courtroom, don’t miss me on #ChicagoPD tonight on @nbc at 10/9c!”

Sharmell whose been retired from in ring competition since 2009 in TNA (now known as IMPACT Wrestling). She is currently assisting her husband and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Booker T with the Reality of Wrestling training school and promotion in their home state of Texas. Booker T inducted her into the Hall of Fame. Sharmell will appear in two film roles in “Wonder London” and “Write It Black”. Neither film has been released yet. Sharmell isn’t the only one who appeared on Chicago P.D. Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana, a star of AEW and Ring of Honor, also made an appearance in the “Chicago” franchise, which included the programs “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago P.D.” As Colt was on “Chicago Fire” as leader of a hazmat team. The popular Starz series “Vikings,” which Edge appeared on, is what brought Sharmell’s fellow WWE Hall of Famer back to the company.
