AEW Forbidden Door 2025 will go down as one of the wildest nights in AEW history, but the women stood out just as much as the men. Toni Storm and Athena turned their battle into pure chaos, smashing each other into steps, barricades, and ring posts until Storm forced Athena to tap in the TCM Chickenwing. Mercedes Moné walked into London with guards carrying her gold and walked out still TBS Champion, rolling Persephone into a victory pin after surviving Bozilla’s power and Windsor’s submissions. And in Zero Hour, Megan Bayne and the Triangle of Madness dominated Willow Nightingale, Statlander, Harley Cameron, and Queen Aminata in a showcase of strength and attitude. The women weren’t just competing—they were shaping the stories that carried through the night.

And the men brought plenty of heat too, with some unforgettable highlights:
Hangman Adam Page defeated MJF to retain the AEW World Championship after surviving Max’s dirty tricks and finally landing the Buckshot Lariat.
Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) shocked the world by beating The Hurt Syndicate and FTR to become new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
Zack Sabre Jr. retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Nigel McGuinness in a technical wrestling masterclass.
Darby Allin, Will Ospreay, Tanahashi, and the Golden Lovers won the Lights Out Steel Cage Match, though the night ended in horror when Moxley and Claudio brutalized Ospreay in a post-match assault.
Adam Copeland & Christian Cage reunited to beat Killswitch & Kip Sabian, proving their chemistry still clicks after more than a decade apart.
Kyle Fletcher retained the TNT Title in a brutal war against Hiromu Takahashi.
The Opps (Samoa Joe, Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs) kept their AEW Trios Titles against the Bullet Club War Dogs.
Forbidden Door 2025 delivered exactly what fans wanted: gold defended, legends reborn, chaos unleashed, and women proving once again they’re the backbone of AEW’s biggest nights.
