Nyla Rose just shook up the UK women’s wrestling scene in the best way possible. On Saturday night, “The Native Beast” walked into ProWrestling EVE’s main event and walked out with the EVE Championship around her waist after a hard-fought 18-minute battle against Nightshade.
AEW referee Aubrey Edwards was the special guest official, keeping things in check as Rose unleashed her power and grit. The win ended Nightshade’s 113-day reign and gave Nyla her first championship since 2021. Fans will remember her historic AEW Women’s World Title run back in 2020, and now she’s back on top with international gold.

But the story doesn’t stop there. While Mercedes Moné has been busy collecting belts all over the globe — nine and counting after this past Friday — Nyla has decided to play defense. Instead of flaunting her new prize, she’s jokingly hiding it from Moné, even going as far as blocking her on social media. Why? Simple: if Mercedes can’t see the belt, maybe she can’t take it.
It’s classic Nyla Rose: a little humor, a little shade, and a whole lot of dominance in the ring. The EVE Championship now has new energy, and fans everywhere are watching to see if Moné eventually comes calling. Until then, Nyla’s got the gold, and she’s making sure the world knows it’s hers.
