Could Taylor Wilde Return To Impact Wrestling Soon?

Taylor Wilde, the former Knockouts Champion, has declared her intention to return to IMPACT. In reality, she has certified that her contract is still in effect.

Wilde thrilled Knockouts fans with her comeback to the ring in 2011, 10 years after she had retired. Wilde returned to wrestling and IMPACT! in 2021 at the Rebellion pay-per-view. She would be required to take a leave of absence soon after her return to tend to personal concerns. Wilde was last seen in August 2021, in a six-person tag team bout after her victory over Tenille Dashwood at Victory Road.

Wilde has been active in the podcasting community with her own program, Wilde On, since her retirement. She would discuss her position with IMPACT and whether or not she is ready to return to the ring.

“When COVID was at peak time, that’s when my divorce was at peak time. Long story short, not to get into too many details because I don’t need anything used against me in court, I’m good. I’m good to come back at any time. I’m ready now, but IMPACT’s got a lot of stuff going on. There’s a lot of new Knockouts,” Wilde shared.

Wilde added, “I’m still under contract.”

“It was really disheartening. I retired, I took ten years off, I became a firefighter, and I’m still doing it. It was amazing, IMPACT really pushed me hard, they did all these big buildup vignettes. I came back at a weird time when there was no audience. I fucking loved it, and I had this good momentum, and just like anything, you do well in one part of your life and then something fucking falls apart, and it was a really catastrophic loss, but I think with all those failures, it makes you stronger and I’m sure there’s some sort of innate reason. I’ve been working on the indies, just locally, and I have started to work heel for the first time in my career, so maybe that’s something that IMPACT can bring me back as,” Wilde said.

Regarding her readiness to return Wilde says, “Fingers crossed. I am so ready to come back. I’ve had a year off. I am fucking ready.”
