Indi Hartwell vs Vicki Venuto

We are back with another match to add to this first round of the TNA Women’s TV tournament. We have Indi Hartwell vs Vicki Venuto. 

Indi Hartwell and Vicki Venuto have a bit of history going into this match. They were once teammates. Vicki makes it clear that she is not here to make any friends in her pre match interview. She only has her eyes on that title. 

Indi wants to cement her legacy, specially on the knockouts division . Something that she has wanted since she was a child. Admiring the Knockouts for as long as she can remember. 

Early on, you can see that both women know each others offense. However, Indi does a good job to hold up the lead for the first part of the match. 

Vicki really shows off her zeal and tenacity when she really starts to take it to Indi. Delivering some clubbing blows and harsh kicks. Showing that this tournament was something that she has been waiting for. 

Indi gains her bearings and starts to weaken Venuto. A series of pins ends when Indi is able to get her finisher on Vicki to get the pin . This takes her closer to her dream of winning this tournament. 

Overall I feel that this  was a solid match that showed off Vicki as someone that is hungry to make a mark on the roster and Indi as someone that is primed and ready to take this opportunity by the horns. 

Not an incredible bout, but one that is expected in the early rounds of the tournament. 

Indi is one of my favorites to win. Everywhere that she's been Ive always been captivated by her ability to put on great matches and really connect with the crowd.
