The iconic American Gladiators are back, and this time, they’re bringing the heat with a major wrestling twist! After a lackluster reboot in 2008, Amazon Prime is preparing to reignite the action-packed series, and it’s shaping up to be the ultimate battle of strength, agility, and heart.

The new season will feature 16 gladiators — eight men and eight women — chosen for their sheer power and competitive spirit. From bodybuilders to CrossFit champions, Division I athletes, and military veterans, this new crop of gladiators is a powerhouse of athleticism. But what makes this reboot even more exciting is the inclusion of professional wrestlers who are set to deliver the kind of grit and flair fans expect.
Among the gladiators stepping into the ring are AEW’s Kamille and indie sensation J-Rod, two fierce female wrestlers ready to bring their A-game to this gladiatorial competition. They’ll be joined by three male wrestlers, including AEW’s powerhouse Wardlow, Jessie Godderz (formerly of TNA), and Rick Boogs (formerly of WWE), who will undoubtedly light up the arena with their wrestling intensity.

Hosted by none other than WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, the show will have fans on the edge of their seats as gladiators face off in a series of brutal challenges. With sideline reporter Rocsi Diaz bringing the heat and sports commentator Chris Rose calling the action, the stakes have never been higher.
As in previous seasons, the gladiators will take on new identities, trading their real names for epic, larger-than-life monikers. Think Zap, Lace, and Blaze — and you can bet that the women of this reboot will have names that live up to the legacy of their predecessors.
The American Gladiators franchise was already known for its over-the-top excitement, but with the addition of professional wrestlers like Kamille and J-Rod, this reboot promises to crank up the intensity to 11. Fans of the gladiators' past and the wrestling world alike are in for a wild ride when the show hits Amazon Prime — and we can’t wait to see who’s left standing after the final showdown!
