Taylor Wilde is a Knockout that was seen by many as the ultimate underdog. During her earlier time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, she becomes a one-time Knockouts Champion. In addition, she is a two-team Knockouts Tag Team Champion with former partners Sarita and Hamada.
In almost a 20-year career, Wilde makes her wrestling debut before 18. She has wrestled in other promotions such as Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling.
From the moment her music hits, Wilde takes over the crowd. With her bubbly personality, it becomes hard not to embrace the energy she brings. So, LET’S GET WILDE!!!
The Ultimate Underdog
To many, she is noted for her surprise victory over Awesome Kong. At the time, Kong is one of the most intimidating Knockouts and wrestlers in the world. After winning the $25,000 Knockouts Title Challenge, Wilde becomes Knockouts Champion for the first time in her career.
Her match with Kong is a true story of overcoming the obstacles of being the underdog. It gives a different meaning to the division and changes the landscape of a Knockout. Along with Awesome Kong, Wilde has other interesting feuds with The Beautiful People and the late Daffney within the promotion.
Making her return at Bound For Glory, Taylor Wilde is back! I am so happy to see Wilde back in the mix. This could be a good opportunity for her to remind everyone of her legacy as a Knockout and in women’s wrestling.
