Mercedes Moné Appearing at Forbes Power Women's Summit
The CEO era continues as Mercedes Moné made an appearance at the 2026 Forbes Power Women's Summit representing AEW and continuing building her legacy in women's wrestling. For a quick refresher, The 2026 Forbes Power Women’s Summit convene architects of power and progress who are reinventing industries, breaking old models, and transforming bold ideas into blueprints for a better world. In this defining era of constant change, today’s most powerful women are proving that the future is theirs to build. This is a huge opportunity for any wrestlers to appear in these types of spaces while sharing their story on how they got into professional wrestling. From a PR perspective, I want to see more wrestlers continue to be invited for these opportunities and she's not the only person to make her presence known.

Recently, Chelsea Green and Jade Cargill spoke at the Sports Business Journal Game Changers event sharing their experience on branding, business ventures, wrestling journey, and authenticity (Chelsea spoke in 2025 and Jade spoke in 2024). For a quick refresher, The Sports Business Journal Game Changers is a conference celebrating women who have profoundly impacted sports through leadership, mentorship, and innovation.

Another female in AEW whose already made her presence at a conference is Rene Paquette. In 2024, alongside Chris Jericho and Tony Khan, Rene had the opportunity to speak at the 2024 Collision Conference in Toronto, CA talking about how AEW is disrupting their industry and reflecting on how pro wrestling is being changed by the internet. Another discussion topic that was presented at the conference was Renee adding that personalized algorithms on social media can be misleading for young people entering creative fields, not just in pro wrestling.

We love seeing people in the professional wrestling space being apart of these opportunities to share their story and how professional wrestling has elevated within the last decade while continuing to break barriers. This is only the beginning and want to see this trend still continue to thrive.
