AEW Dynamite took over Arena México for Grand Slam: México, delivering a historic night in partnership with CMLL. In the main event, “The CEO” Mercedes Moné defeated Zeuxis to become the new CMLL Women’s World Champion.

Zeuxis came out aggressive, using her speed and aerial skills to dominate early. She nearly put Moné away with a huge Spanish Fly from the top rope, but the CEO kicked out just in time. Moné turned things around, countered a final attack, and hit the Moné Maker for the win and the title.
As Moné celebrated her latest championship, the lights dimmed and a black-and-white film featuring “Timeless” Toni Storm played on the tron. Just when it seemed like a tease, Mina Shirakawa appeared onscreen—and Storm showed up in the ring dressed like Carmen Sandiego. Without warning, Storm attacked Moné from behind, knocking her out with a stack of six championship belts.
Storm stood tall over Moné and said with a smirk: “Let the games begin.”
Moné leaves Mexico with gold in her hands—but a storm is clearly coming.
