TNA Wrestling in Philadelphia Recap

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling made a pit stop in Philadelphia last week during their road to Lockdown. I had the chance to attend both nights that brought the crowd to their feet. Obviously Friday's show was taped and will not provide spoilers but will give the rundown of Thursday's live episode.

We continue the Knockouts TV Tournament as they enter the Quarterfinals kicking off between Thea Hail and Indi Hartwell. Both of these ladies went back and forth while showcasing a refreshed yet young Knockouts Division. Overall, I have been enjoying the Knockouts TV Tournament so far while including ladies from NXT, Evolve, and the Independent scene. In the end, Indi Hartwell came out with the victory and she is one step closet on being in the inaugural Knockouts TV Champion

Philadelphia was treated with another quarterfinals Knockouts TV Tournament as Jody Threat takes on Jada Stone. Jada Stone has been making waves since entering TNA and wants to continue her rise as a TNA Knockout but don't underestimate Jody Threat. This was a hard-hitting match up between both of these ladies that delivered. This is one of the things I love about TNA is not just their X Division but the Knockouts Division has enriched history that brings out the best of all the ladies. In the end, Jada Stone picked up the victory and is someone that people need to start paying attending to.

During Thursday's show, we also find out that TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside will be taking on NXT's Wendy Choo for the TNA Knockouts World Championship this Thursday on TNA Impact. I see Xia Brookside as a person that can carry the division on her back and if TNA gives her the keys, I think she will do wonders and is the first person from the UK to be crowned TNA Knockouts World Champion.

We ended the show with an incredible match between Jason Hotch and Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship. This match had a lot at stakes where these two men brought it to the city of Philadelphia. You can tell there's a little tension within Order 4 but throughout the shenanigans Jason Hotch is the new TNA International Champion. This was a feel good moment as Jason got to share with his family and look forward to see his reign as TNA International Champion.
