Charity King Makes History as ASÉ Wrestling’s First Women’s Champion

History was written in Charlotte, North Carolina, as Charity King etched her name into the record books at ASÉ Wrestling’s “ASÉ Eleven.”

In front of a packed house at the Slingshot Social Game Club and with the energy of an entire locker room behind her, King survived three of the toughest competitors in the women’s division to become the inaugural ASÉ Wrestling Women’s Champion.

The finals were a hard-fought four-way clash featuring Karen Renee, Savannah Evans, and Maya World (who had earned her spot earlier in the night by defeating Aleah James). When the dust settled, it was King who sealed her destiny, pinning Renee and capturing the crown jewel of ASÉ’s women’s division.

The celebration that followed underscored the magnitude of the moment. The entire ASÉ roster surrounded the ring, paying respect to King’s trailblazing victory, while none other than WWE legend Jazz personally presented the new champion with the title belt. It was a moment dripping in symbolism, one generation of women’s wrestling greatness passing the torch to the next.

The event, which streamed live on YouTube, offered a showcase of diverse wrestling talent:

ASÉ Wrestling did not just crown a champion; it crowned a standard bearer. Charity King’s win is more than just a personal milestone; it sets the tone for what the ASÉ Women’s Championship represents: grit, growth, and the elevation of women’s wrestling in independent circles.

With her triumph, King has become the face of ASÉ’s women’s division and the responsibility now lies on her shoulders to prove that this is just the beginning of something much bigger.
