#IMPACTRecap I Said Put Some Respect On Her Name! #ANDNEW

This recap will be a little different, more opinion-based, and dedicated to the new IMPACT Knockouts World Champion, Tasha Steelz.

But first, Steelz is not the only new champion in the Knockouts division. The Influenced defeated The IInspiration and become the new IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions. This was very soothing to my soul and I am so excited to see Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood dominate as champions!

Speaking of champions, the champ champ herself, Deonna Purrazzo defeated her BFF Chelsea Green. Green suffered an arm injury after the match. Honestly, this match was everything I needed and gave yet another surprise element to Sacrifice. Here at Women’s Wrestling Talk, we want to send our thoughts and prayers to Chelsea Green on a speedy recovery.

Big shoutout to Lady Frost and Gisele Shaw for their match on Countdown to Sacrifice. These two women have had such a great feud thus far. It was Lady Frost who picked up the victory and it seems this feud is far from over.

Now let us get into some business. Tasha Steelz defeated Mickie James to become the first Afro-Latina IMPACT Knockouts World Champion. For me personally, this is a moment I have been wanting since I got the opportunity to meet Steelz. Her drive and passion are unmatched and some people have slept on her talent for way too long.

That has all changed now as she wakes these folks up! Moving forward, put some respect on the name of Tasha Steelz! She reached the top of the mountain in the tag team division and she is back at the top, sitting real pretty over the Knockouts division. All those people that booed and hated, I wonder how it feels.

As much as the reign by Mickie James has given everyone dream matches and heartfelt moments, for me the reign went on to long. As many know, I am a superfan of Deonna Purrazzo as well. Watching her lose that championship at Bound for Glory did not sit too well with me.

Now that everything has come full circle, Purrazzo and Steelz being champions is the best part of it all.
