#IMPACTRecap: Is Lady Frost Hard to Kill? Former Knockouts Champion and Hall of Famer Seems To Think

On Before The Impact, Lady Frost shows the Impact Zone just why she belongs here. In her first match under contract in Impact Wrestling, she defeated Undead Bridesmaid Kimber Lee in a clean victory. This win gives her the momentum she needs as she begins her path of being a Knockout. She spoke to Gia Miller briefly after the match. She said, “It’s about time. It feels good to become an Impact Knockout officially. This is the hottest women’s division, and they are getting the coolest wrestler they will ever meet!”

As she discussed her plans and purpose, she was interrupted by the EVP of Impact Wrestling, Scott D’amore. He welcomed Lady Frost to Impact and finally gave everyone the announcement they had been waiting for. However, that announcement came with an unexpected twist. The competitors for the first-ever Knockouts Ultimate X match were revealed by Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer, Gail Kim, announcing her as the newest member of the Impact management team. She reported that Hard to Kill would include: Lady Frost, Tasha Steelz, Rosemary, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, and Rachael Ellering.

Homecoming King and Queen Matthew Rehwoldt and Deonna Purrazzo prove their strength together as a team once again. Over time, they have become one of the most dominating teams in the Impact Zone, with no plans to stop their domination. Gaining a victory over Impact veteran Chris Sabin and current Knockouts Champion, Mickie James, gives The Virtuosa quite the momentum over James heading into Hard to Kill. Since James did not take the pinfall, she will undoubtedly have something to say on the stolen victory next week.

The IInspiration and The Influence spoke to Gia Miller before their match against all four members of Decay. While Jessica McCay and Tenille Dashwood tried to figure out who would speak first, Madison Rayne stepped in and said, “It’s been a great week; you know we spent a lot of time with The IInspiration, and it’s been a pleasure getting to know you ladies – I have high hopes for this match.” The IInspiration replied in sync, “WE APPRECIATE YOU!”

As confusion over a supergroup name began, The IInspiration left for the match as Rayne pulled Dashwood aside, questioning why she calls The IInspiration her friends. The supergroup could not seem to get it together, as Rayne and The IInspiration got into a shouting match in the middle of the match. Rosemary gained the victory for her team, pinning Dashwood after taking the deadly spear from The Demon Assassin. With this win, the opportunity for Rosemary and Havok at the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships could await them at Hard to Kill.
