On the Road to Rebellion, everyone is looking for their opportunity. Before the Impact, Digital Media Champion, Jordynne Grace successfully defended her title against Lady Frost. After the match, Grace was met in the ring by Matt Cardona.
He entered the ring, pointed at the title, then left. Moments after, he spoke to Gia Miller and challenged Grace to a match for the Digital Media Championship. Challenged accepted!
Tasha Steelz defeats Chelsea Green
After their brief confrontation last week, Chelsea Green and Tasha Steelz faced off in one on one competition. Knockouts World Champion, Mickie James, accompanied Tom Hannifan on commentary and made it clear she has her eye on the current number one contender. It was Steelz that gained the victory and had some words for the champion after the match.
Those words did not sit too well with James, as she entered the ring. The two exchanged blows in the middle of the ring, leading to the interference of Savannah Evans, then Green. James and Green stood tall in the ring as Steelz and Evans laughed away. It is clear that this is far from, as the Knockouts division continues to erupt.
The Influence were booked to face off with Havok and Rosemary but that did not go as planned. Before the match even started, Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood decided to take out Havok and then focused on Rosemary. Unfortunately, their plan was crumbled once Havok defended her team and took them on in a handicap match.
All in all, The Influence as a unit seemed to be too much for Havok, leading to their victory and a message from The IInspiration. As the Knockouts Tag Team division continues to heat up, The IInspiration are not impressed. Next week, they finally face off with The Influence for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.
And just when we thought it was over, the invasion continues and Maria Kanellis left us with this message:
“Do YOU Believe? Because I use to believe. We ALL use to believe in honor and playing by the rules and doing what’s right. We believe that honor is real….”
