#IMPACTRecap The Aftermath of Slammiversary

The Salt Shakkas (Driune and I) were live at Slammiversary! We caught all the action and then some. From the return of Dixie Carter and Christy Hemme to crowning a few new champions, this night will forever go down in history and the drama is still unfolding.

Queen of the Mountain: Jordynne Grace

The first-ever Queen of the Mountain match proves that the Knockouts division is the best in the world. Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Tasha Steelz, Mia Yim, and Jordynne grace compete to see who the better competitor is. With Mickie James as the special enforcer, she wastes no time using her power.

In addition, James removes Savannah Evans from the match. As we all know, Evans has stood beside Tasha Steelz during her reign. This match was no different.

To no surprise, James quickly tells Evans to get to the back when Evans decides to insert herself to help Steelz. However, James decides to abuse her power, costing Chelsea Green her opportunity of winning.

We saw some impressive work from Mia Yim, making her presence and power known. As Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo make their way to the top of the mountain, Yim stops them dead in their tracks. The two take a nasty fall together, taking them out of the equation.

All in all, it is Jordynne Grace reaching the top, becoming the new IMPACT! Knockouts World Champion. As we approach Slammiversary Fallout, it will be interesting to see who the next opponent for Grace will be. Coming off her loss, will we see the former champion, Tasha Steelz, request her rematch?

#ANDNEW: Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary defeat The Influence

Since her return, Taya Valkyrie has been unstoppable. The reunion with Rosemary makes it even better. In addition, the two defeat Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne, becoming the new IMPACT! Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.

Footage from the event is posted on our Instagram and Twitter. Our Slammiversary post-show is up now on Twitch. Be sure to check out our #IMPACTRecap every week along with our post-show live on Twitch as well.
