Marina Shafir will face Skye Blue on AEW Dynamite this week in preparation for her TBS Championship showdown against Jade Cargill. Shafir has only competed on AEW Dark, therefore this will be her first television appearance.
Shafir was been announced as Cargill’s TBS Championship opponent. “The Problem” is 4-0 in 2022 and will be looking to overcome Cargill, who is 29-0 in AEW. Cargill has given many open challenges since January. In the past, she’s beaten the likes of Anna Jay and Julia Hart.
Cargill is motivated to win her 30th race while solving “The Problem”. At this moment, no date has been announced for their match.
Skye Blue was last seen on Rampage on March 30th, trying to qualify for the Owen Hart Cup. She failed to qualify and lost to Jamie Hayter. Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, and Red Velvet are currently qualified for the Owen Hart Cup.
