AEW Wrestledream Media Call
We are less than 48 hours away from AEW Wrestledream this Saturday from Orlando, Florida. I had the pleasure of participating in today's media call before the big event and had the pleasure of asking Tony Khan a question related to the TBS Championship 4-way between Dani Luna, Persephone, Hyan, and Queen Aminata. If you haven't been paying attention but the TBS Title Division is heating up to the fullest and happy to see it back into the national spotlight on a PPV stage. Tony Khan mentioned in the call that he's excited about this match with all four ladies getting something to prove. Another fact I found out is this is Hyan's singles PPV debut match while having history with Dani Luna going back to the independent scene. He noted that all four participants have stepped up to the plate after the tag team match last night on AEW Dynamite with Dani Luna getting a pinfall victory over former AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker.
Tony also provided a nod to Maya World who is recovering from an injury on an inspirational run in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament and TBS Title Run.
We also got an update related to the AEW Women's Tag Team Championships as the Brawling Birds were supposed to defend against Wrathlander but got pulled due to Jamie Hayter not medically cleared to compete. We here at WWT want to wish Jamie Hayter a speedy recovery and look forward to the upcoming title match.
We want to thank AEW for letting WWT cover AEW Wrestledream and look forward to the event.
