Tatum Paxley & Carmella Injured At WWE Live Events

NXT 2.0 Tatum Paxley was injured during a recent WWE Live Event.

Paxley joined the McMahon-run business in 2021 and has appeared in the re-vamped women’s division of NXT 2.0. She has also been associated with the Diamond Mine group, and some reports even claim she is a member. In the 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, she paired up with Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile.

Tatum Paxley wrestled Sloane Jacobs at a recent NXT Live Event in North Charleston, South Carolina. The match was cut short owing to Paxley’s bleeding injury. Several Twitter users reported an incident involving the NXT Superstar’s nose, capturing a photo of her being treated.

Paxley and WWE have not yet disclosed if the star will need time off due to the injury. She did answer worried followers on Twitter, assuring them she was fine:

Thank you everyone for reaching out and checking in!🖤 I’ll be ok! Accidents like these happen all the time in what we do. Plus getting blood everywhere is super heavy metal 😤🤘🏼 — Pax (@TatumPaxley) August 7, 2022

Paxley has been developing her skill for WWE’s developmental brand before her accident.

Paxley’s most recent appearance on television was in a four-way women’s tag team bout with Ivy Nile. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter were declared the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions after winning the match.

Paxley was not the only one who got injured over the weekend. According to social media photos from Saturday’s North Charleston event, Carmella was unable to complete her match against Bianca Belair and Asuka after suffering a head injury.

“OH NO!! they threw up the x for carmella, she got hit in the head in the corner when Bianca tried to back flip over her,” wrote @Sashasliv on Twitter.

“She got up on her own to walk away which is good, but they were like shielding her eyes from the bright lights,” reads a follow-up post.

Currently, there haven’t been any updates on Carmella, but we hope she’s okay!
