On March 21, two additional NXT women’s matches are scheduled. The winners of the two qualifying matches will proceed to Stand & Deliver on April 1 to compete alongside Zoey Stark and Gigi Dolin in a ladder match. The NXT Women’s Title will be at stake in that ladder match.
After Roxanne Perez collapsed in the ring after her match with Meiko Satomura at Roadblock, Shawn Michaels announced last week that a new NXT Women’s Champion would need to be crowned. Stark and Dolin both won on March 14 to clinch their spots. Stark defeated Sol Ruca, while Dolin defeated Kiana James.
Wendy Choo will now make a comeback to battle Lyra Valkyria, and Indi Hartwell will face Tiffany Stratton. For what it’s worth, Perez was called out by Valkyria and Stratton before she was declared medically unfit to compete.
