WWE NXT NXT Women’s Title Match Changed At Stand & Deliver

WWE NXT Women’s title match changed for Stand & Deliver.

Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray will be part of a fatal four-way match after winning the 2022 WWE NXT Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Championship.

In tonight’s main event, Shirai and KLR beat Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai. Instead of going after the tag team belts, Shirai and KLR chose to cash in for the NXT Women’s Championship.

NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne joined Toxic Attraction in the ring after the tournament to celebrate and mock Shirai and KLR on their triumph. Rose says Shirai and KLR will not be able to defeat Dolin and Jayne for the crowns.

Rose said that she would defend her championship against any woman in NXT, and Shirai and KLR then revealed that instead of cashing in their title shot on Dolin and Jayne, they would cash in on Rose to make her title defense at Stand & Deliver a Fatal 4 Way at Stand & Deliver a Fatal 4 Way.

Originally set for Stand & Deliver, Cora Jade vs. Rose will now be defended by Rose against Jade, Shirai, and KLR. Toxic Attraction was defeated by Jade, Shirai, and KLR in the last match of tonight’s NXT.

Saturday, April 2 will see the return of NXT Stand & Deliver from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. As WrestleMania 38 Night One is just a few hours away, Peacock and the WWE Network will be live streaming the event. According to reports, the NXT event would last between 2.5 and 3 hours.
