AEW star Ruby Soho will be shortly undergoing surgery for a recent injury she picked up.
In a video posted to One Pro Wrestling’s Twitter account on September 22, Soho stated that she would be forced to pull out of their upcoming show due to the fact that she needed surgery to fix her broken nose.

“Now due to the injury that I received at All Out, a broken nose in two places and a mess of a septum, I have to have surgery, and due to the scheduling of that surgery and the recovery time I won’t be able to make it to the show on October 1st. You guys, I’m really really sorry that I’m not going to be there. Honestly, this is the only thing that would keep me from coming back to England. I was very much looking forward to the show and very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing all of you again, so for that, I do truly apologize.” (h/t Comicbook.com)
Soho sustained the injury in a match for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions on the Zero Hour Pre-Show of All Out, teaming up with Ortiz in a losing effort to reigning title holders Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo. During the bout, Soho took a knee to the face from Melo before blood began gushing from her nose.

“I know that the show is going to be incredible. It’s still a stacked card, and I am hoping, in the near future, hopefully at the show in February I will be back. I will be better than ever, and I will finally keep my word and make my debut for 1PW. So I apologize again you guys, and I hope to see you again very very soon.” (h/t Comicbook.com)
It is currently unknown what the timeline for Soho’s return will be, though it should be noted that broken noses are typically healed within 3 to 6 weeks.
