Following this past week’s “Raw is XXX” show, WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Bella, aka The Bella Twins, have criticized WWE. The two contend that the show undervalues the contributions of WWE’s female stars.
The Bella Twins criticized the company for not highlighting any of the talents from the women’s evolution on Instagram after “Raw is XXX.” They said this was because Mercedes Mone, who used to be known as Sasha Banks in the WWE, was a part of it.
“How didn’t they showcase anything from the women’s evolution? So Sasha Banks is in it and they’re like, ‘We can’t. Mercedes (Mone) is too over and we can’t say her name,'” complained Nikki Bella.

After that, Brie claimed that WWE didn’t want to air television appearances from other former Superstars. “There’s a couple of other girls and Raya (Saraya), there’s a bunch of us they don’t want to show. That’s fine.”
The pair was initially scheduled to appear on “Raw is XXX,” with Bayley perhaps hinting at an altercation with the Hall of Famers, but they were absent on Monday night. In 2021, during the same weekend they were inducted into the Hall of Fame, they made their final appearance in the WWE at WrestleMania 37.
Another member of the Hall of Fame, Lita, was widely speculated to be on the program but failed to appear. Alundra Blayze was the only female legend to appear on “Raw is XXX” and was featured in a segment about a backstage poker tournament.
After Becky Lynch was attacked by IYO SKY and Dakota Kai before the match could start, some fans were upset that the steel cage match between Bayley and Becky Lynch was called off. The highly anticipated match was postponed because the show’s opening segments went over their allotted time.
