Jade Cargill compiled an impressive 47-0 winning streak, and she has just received another honor. As of today (January 5th, to be exact), Cargill has held the AEW TBS title for an entire year. Cargill won the TBS championship in a tournament last year to become the inaugural champion on the January 5, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she defeated Baddie Red Velvet, former AEW Women’s champion Thunder Rosa, and Ruby Soho in the finals.
After being signed to AEW for less than one year, Jade participated in twenty consecutive matches. Since winning the TBS Championship, Jade Cargill has repeatedly demonstrated her fighting prowess. She defeated Tay Melo at Revolution, Anna Jay (Before she was Anna Jay a.S.) at Double or Nothing, Athena at All Out, and Nyla Rose at Full Gear while competing at AEW’s four primary events.
Her group “The Baddies” consisted of Kiera Hogan, Red Velvet, and Leila Grey throughout 2022. As Kiera Hogan was expelled from the group and tensions exist between Cargill and Red Velvet, it appears that Velvet may also be expelled from the group.
Friday night, after AEW Rampage, Jade Cargill will defend her title against Skye Blue at Battle of The Belts V at 11 p.m. ET on TNT.
