WWE has cut its ties with Mandy Rose.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that on December 14, WWE released the former NXT Women’s Champion. According to Sapp, Rose’s postings on her FanTime page put WWE in a bind because the company believed they went outside the bounds of her contract. As a result, Rose’s postings put WWE in a difficult position.
Fightful Select has learned that Mandy Rose has been released by WWE. WWE officials felt they were put in a tough position based on the content she was posting on her FanTime page. Roxanne Perez defeated Rose on December 13 to end Rose’s 413-day reign as the NXT Women’s Champion.
When Rose participated in WWE Tough Enough’s sixth season in 2015, she made her WWE debut. After coming in second, she decided to join the business. Before joining Absolution with Sonya Deville and Paige on the main roster, Rose competed for a while on NXT. As the tag team Fire and Desire, she and Deville split off. Rose won a Loser Leaves WWE Match at SummerSlam 2020 after a memorable storyline with Otis.
Toxic Attraction was founded by Rose, Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne when she rejoined NXT in July 2021. On NXT Halloween Havoc 2021, she defeated Raquel Rodriguez to win the NXT Women’s Championship. At NXT Worlds Collide on September 4, she defeated NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport to become the undisputed NXT Women’s Champion.
We wish Mandy Rose the best of luck on her journey.
