Ruby Soho Would Be Honored To Face Mickie James On Her Last Rodeo

AEW’s Ruby Soho who recently returned to All Elite Wrestling programming after being sidelined with a broken nose since September jumped at the opportunity to face off Mickie James on her Last Rodeo as she spoke on Busted Open Radio. Soho was asked about working with Mickie James, the former Impact Knockouts champion on her retirement tour “The Last Rodeo” with Impact Wrestling. Ruby Soho said she considers James a legend and would love to face her one-on-one. “Oh my gosh. I can’t even explain to you the honor I would feel from something like that. I’m not even kidding, I can’t say the word “Mickie James” without saying the word “legend” after. Me and Liv [Morgan] did it all the time. ‘Mickie James Legend.’ It’s her full name, actually. In our minds, it’s her full name. Mickie James Legend. “Honestly, Mickie, I have so much respect for you, all the respect in the world, and we’ve gotten to step into the ring just once. We were teammates a couple times, which was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Just the one time I got to step into the ring with you in that gauntlet match we had years ago, and it was in your hometown. I do remember that it was such an honor. I was so nervous. But anything in that nature, just to wrestle you in a singles match would be an absolute honor. That would be unbelievable.” At Hard To Kill on January 13, Mickie James will challenge Jordynne Grace for the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship.
