Ring Of Honor will feature a women’s bout at the Death Before Dishonor pre-show, on Saturday, July 23.
Willow Nightingale will face Allysin Kay at the ROH Death Before Dishonor Zero Hour pre-show, as confirmed on the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the main card, Mercedes Martinez will defend her Ring Of Honor Women’s World Championship against Serena Deeb.
While there is no current storyline for Nightingale vs. Kay at this event, the bout will reference the ROH Women’s World Championship Quest for Gold tournament from the previous year. Allysin Kay advanced after defeating Willow in a first-round match in August. Willow has been increasingly active in AEW recently, teaming with Athena on July 20’s Dynamite in a losing attempt. She also fought in the interim championship match against Martinez at the April ROH Supercard of Honor.
This will be Allysin Kay’s first Ring Of Honor appearance since the December Final Battle. In the subsequent months, she has wrestled consistently for Women’s Wrestling Army.
