Zelina Vega Claims First Spot For Money In The Bank

Zelina Vega is the first woman earn a spot in the 2023 Money in the Bank Ladder Match out of a group of six. On the SmackDown episode airing on June 2, she won a brief match against Lacey Evans. The majority of the match was dominated by Evans, who also hit a Women’s Right just before the match began. In a Code Red, Vega triumphed.

There was a segment on the Grayson Waller Effect before this match. Asuka, the brand-new Raw Women’s Champion, was his guest. Asuka was praised by Waller for her use of the blue mist as well as her title victory. IYO SKY quickly interrupted, and she did so without waiting long.

Asuka and SKY argue back and forth over SKY’s assertion that she will compete in, win, and then pay off Asuka in the Money in the Bank match. Next would come Bayley‘s music. According to Bayley, what SKY actually means is that one of them will win MITB because Damage CTRL will be well-represented. After that, Shotzi, Evans, and Zelina Vega would all leave to make their entrances.

Asuka emerged covertly from the ring and headed towards the ramp. Bianca Belair, however, unexpectedly jumped on her from behind, forcing officials to separate the two.

A matchup between Michin and Bayley and SKY and Shotzi has been scheduled for the following week.

Michin entered the ring with the rest of the OC crew to compete against Hit Row as a tag team. All day long, Michin and B-Fab sparred on Twitter but never engaged in actual combat.
